Veteran’s Day Salute to Anthony Del Toro and Jesus Serrano
This Veterans Day, we salute all brave members of the U.S. armed forces who with great pride and strength have endured sacrifices to preserve our freedom. As we take a moment to acknowledge all members, we would like to express our gratitude to Mercedes-Benz of Ontario team members and veterans, Jesus Serrano and Anthony Del Toro.
Ontario’s own Sales Associate, Anthony Del Toro joined the U.S. Army as an active duty member in 2007. During his 6 ½ year military journey, Del Toro was part of two tours to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Del Toro believes the U.S. Army made him who he is today and describes joining as the best decision he could have ever made and wouldn’t take any part of it back. “The hardest moments in life are your most memorable”, Del Toro states in reflecting on his journey, “The brotherhood is something that is hard to explain to others that have not experienced the military.”
Jesus Serrano, one of our service technicians, also joined the U.S. Army as an active duty member from 2000-2004. Joining right after high school, Serrano’s military experience includes Airborne School received in Ft. Benning and an Afghanistan tour during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2014. Serrano credits his experience in the U.S. Army for his strong work ethic, being disciplined, a risk taker, and for always trying his best to be the best. Currently, Serrano continues to serve the U.S. Army as a reserve member and is part of the 315th Engineer Battalion in Camp Pendleton.
On behalf of Mercedes-Benz of Ontario, we thank Anthony Del Toro, Jesus Serrano, and all men and women of the U.S. armed forces for their service.
