Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The month of October is dedicated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This means, all month long from coast to coast charities and organizations alike help bring awareness as well as raise funds to the treatment and research of breast cancer. Although breast cancer is known to be the leading cancer among women, many forget the importance of detecting the disease in its early stages. The month-long breast cancer health campaign helps in encouraging women to take the proper steps in the stand against breast cancer. We’ve put together a few places right here in the surrounding Ontario area that are partaking in the fight against breast cancer. Because “No one fights alone”

Red Lions Hotels goes pink this month. In an effort to bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer Red Lion Hotels are teaming up with local women’s organizations along with local communities. Also Red Lion Hotels will be having a “Who inspires you?” Facebook contest. Many families are affected by this disease Red Lion invites you to share about a person whom you are inspired by. Every week for the month of October an entry will be selected and that person will be awarded with two stays at a Red Lions Hotel. For more information visit: http://www.redlion.com/redliongoespink
