The famous engine comes into its element in the front of G-Class. G 550 is capable of 0-60 mph in just 5.6 seconds thanks to 416 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

Locking differentials

Master any terrain thanks to 3 lockable differentials in the front, middle, and rear of the vehicle's underbody, sending the engine's power to the correct wheel in order to get you out of any off-road situation.

CAMTRONIC cylinder shutdown

In order to boost efficiency, half of the v8’s cylinders will automatically deactivate in low-throttle conditions. The driver will be made aware of this by an engine-cylinder icon popping up on the instrument cluster display.
