6 Inland Empire Holiday Events 2017 For the Entire Family
It’s the most wonderful time of year and Mercedes-Benz of Ontario wants to help you and your family make it even BETTER! Spread holiday cheer this season by going on a few adventures in your Mercedes-Benz around the Inland Empire.
Check out these 2017 Inland Empire Christmas events you need to go:
1) Magic of Lights—Fontana
November 17, 2017 – December 31, 2017
Friday & Saturday 5:30-10pm
Sunday-Thursday 5:30-9pm
Pile everyone into the 7-passenger Mercedes-Benz GLS and experience the annual Magic of Lights Drive-Thru display at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. This 1.5 mile Drive-Thru show features an enchanting tunnel of lights, incredible animation with your favorite holiday characters, and more! Plus, part of the proceeds collected will go toward local charities.
This year’s theme is “Sweet 25.” The fun and exciting candy-theme will be carried throughout the exterior of the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. Festivities include 200 animated figures including angels, elves and Dickens carolers; appearances by Santa Claus, the world’s largest man-made mistletoe, horse-drawn carriage rides, freshly fallen snow, and beautifully decorated Christmas trees all through January 6, 2018.
3) Wild Lights at The Living Desert
Back for its 25th year, the Living Desert is transforming the zoo into a sparkling winter wonderland festivities from 6 pm to 9 pm and continues on select nights through December 24.
In celebration of its silver anniversary and new this year is the Wild Lights at the Living Desert reindeer exhibit, where guests will have a the opportunity to visit with the Santa’s reindeer.
Marvel at more than a million colorful, sparkling holiday lights as you encounter a herd of life-size, luminescent animal lanterns including giraffes and cheetahs, and stroll through the popular tunnel of lights flashing to holiday music!
5) Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Parade
Spread Christmas cheer throughout the weekend! On Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m., take a trip in your Mercedes-Benz to the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Rialto Civic center (150 S. Palm Ave.). Enjoy holiday music, treats, and more. Plus, Mr. and Mrs. Claus be there to help kick off the event!
Come back on Saturday, December 9, 2017 for the Holiday Parade & Vendor Fair. Plus, you’ll want to stay for photos with Santa. The parade begins at 10 a.m. starting at Foothill Blvd.
6) Thoroughbred Street Lights
Nestled in Rancho Cucamonga, the Thoroughbred Street Christmas Lights is tradition that dates back to over 20 years. While this may seem like your average neighborhood any other time, during the holiday season Thoroughbred Street, commonly known as “Thoroughbred Lane,” is the Christmas neighborhood you’ve dreamed of!
Grab the family, jump in the Mercedes-Benz GLS, and dazzle your eyes through this festive neighborhood.
