Road Trip: PCH Pit Stops

April 7th, 2017 by

As it gets closer to summer, it’s time to start planning those summer road trips and Mercedes-Benz of Ontario wants to help!

If you don’t know where you are heading this summer, perhaps you should think about taking a classic road trip up Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) for stunning views of sweeping coastal cliffs and lush greenery.

Make this trip one to remember as you witness spectacular views from these great places. Here are some of our favorite spots along the way.

Black CLA

McWay Waterfall

The McWay Waterfall is like a little slice of paradise tucked in the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. This waterfall is located just 40 miles South of Carmel. Although you’re not able to walk all the way down to the falls, it just adds to the magic and definitely a sight worth seeing.

Bixby Creek Bridge

As you hit the Northern part of Big Sur, be sure to check out the historic Bixby Creek Bridge that was built in 1932! As much fun as it is to drive through, the pictures are even better.

Natural Bridges State Beach

Behold the majestic and beautiful 15 feet arch located just 2 minutes off Highway 1 in Santa Cruz. Not only is it sitting right on the beach, but it also makes for another great photo opportunity and a breathtaking view.

Glass Beach

The best part about this beach is knowing that nature has re-purposed trash from the early 20th century and turned it into something amazing that is now the home to crabs and sea anemone.

Now that you know some of Mercedes-Benz of Ontario’s pitstops up PCH, the only thing missing is a comfortable car that looks great and drives even better, like Mercedes-Benz CLA. Roll down the windows and breathe in brisk ocean-side air! Click here to learn more about the Mercedes-Benz CLA.
