How To Get the Best Deal at the LA County Fair
We know. You’ve waited all year for it so, why not make it the best yet? One of the largest fairs in the U.S. is back again in Pomona, Calif. and Mercedes-Benz of Ontario wants to help you get the best deal on tickets!
Check out these Fletcher Jones’ tips to get the best deal and make the most out of the 2017 LA County Fair taking place September 1-24.
FJ TIP #1: From noon to 5 PM on Thursdays, donate five canned goods to receive one free admission ticket! All canned foods will be donated to Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and local charities.
FJ TIP #2: $2 for single-day admission for active & retired military, veterans, reserves, fire, police and paramedics w/ ID; and $2 single-day admission for one guest, good Sept. 6-10 only. $1 from each admission will be donated to Vet Hunter’s Project.
Must Try Foods
You can’t go to the fair and not be enticed by the familiar aroma of deep-friend eats like chicken and waffles on a stick and deep fried hot sauce! No matter where you get your food at the fair, you can bet the food will be delish! We suggest trying the bucket of three dozen freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies.
FJ TIP #3: Thirsty? Get $2 off fountain drinks, draft beet, and margaritas at participating stands during Happy Hour from 3 PM to 6 PM every Wednesday through Friday.

The Taylor Swift Experience™

Jurassic Planet
The ferocious dinosaurs that once roamed the lands have made their way to the LA County Fair. See more than 40 prehistoric creatures including the venom spitting Dilophosaurus and fierce T-Rex! Plus, enjoy interactive activities and talks with real paleontologists.
Mojo’s Wilf & Crazy Lagoon
Whether your favorite animal is a giraffe, a monkey, or kangaroo, you’ll be able to find them at Mojo’s Wild & Crazy Lagoon. Bring the kids and learn about these exotic animals and their natural habitats at this free exhibit!
FJ TIP#5: Wednesdays from noon – 5 PM bring five new, packaged school supplies and receive free admission that day! Donations will be given to local community schools, Inland Empire United Way’s School Tools Program, and the Los Angeles Unified School District.
