The new Mercedes-Benz G-Class is launching later this year with a new high-performance engine, a wider variety of comfort and convenience features, and a new DYNAMIC SELECT® driving mode. While the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class MSRP is still being determined, our team has rolled out some of details on the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class changes below. Engine & Transmission

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class has a new standard 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, which produces 416 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. The new G-Class also switches out the 2018 G-Class 7-speed automatic transmission for the 9G-TRONIC® 9-Speed automatic transmission, making for a smoother and more efficient ride.

Driving Dynamics

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class boasts five available DYNAMIC SELECT® driving modes. The driving modes include Comfort, Sport, Eco, Individual, and an all-new G-Mode. With the new G-Mode, you’ll enjoy smooth maneuvering, even on rough terrain around Corona and Upland.

Comfort & Convenience Features

The new Mercedes-Benz G-Class has new available comfort and convenience features, giving the G-Class an ever sleeker, more modern feel. These new features include include a 12.3-inch high-resolution display with a single-bonded glass panel (replacing the 2018 G-Class 8-inch screen and 4.5-inch instrument cluster), 64-shade ambient lighting, and new LED headlights.
