Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX)

A new concept in automobile cockpit control, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience advances to the forefront of innovation. MBUX integrates digital in-dash displays including a touchscreen, touch-sensitive controls, Bluetooth® hands-free and audio streaming, and an available industry-advancing voice control system that responds to your everyday speaking voice and phrasing of commands. You can set up multiple user profiles of favored settings, and groups of settings can be saved as themes or moods.

 

Voice Control with Natural Language Understanding

A highly advanced system takes voice control to a fascinating new level. Memorizing fixed commands is a thing of the past, and artificial intelligence makes the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) a future you can live today. Vehicle functions respond to natural, conversational phrases. For example, say “I feel cold” and MBUX can adjust the climate control. It even learns new phrases over time, and responds with more flexible and friendly language as well.

Power front seats with 3-position memory

Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you find your ideal driving position with 12-way power adjustment, including 4-way power lumbar support. A memory system for each front seat recalls three stored seat positions with the touch of a button. The driver-seat memory also includes the power steering column and side mirror positions. Both front seats also feature adjustable cushion length, for optimal thigh support and added comfort.

 

Dual-zone automatic climate control

Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy personalized comfort. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes a dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 5 microns from entering the cabin. Five adjustable vents in the dash and a pair of rear-cabin air vents help maintain passenger enjoyment throughout the cabin
