Let the Experts at Mercedes-Benz of Ontario Help You Keep Up with Your Service B Intervals!

B Service

Developed by Mercedes-Benz engineers, the Service B intervals operate alongside the Service A intervals to protect your investment, and prevent costly, potentially dangerous mechanical problems. Needlessly to say, keeping up with Service B,* as well as Service A, is necessary if you plan to hang onto your vehicle for years to come. If you have questions about Service B, continue reading! Mercedes-Benz of Ontario is here to fill you in on the details.

How Often is Service B Recommended?

To help sustain your vehicle, Mercedes-Benz devised the Flexible Service System (FSS). This system includes two intervals: Service A and Service B. For most late-model (MY09 and newer)** vehicles, Service A is required after 10,000 miles or 1 year – whichever comes first. Designed to protect your vehicle’s most delicate systems, Service A covers oil and filter changes,^ brake inspections, and tire inflation inspections.

After 20,000 miles or 2 years, Service B is recommended as a follow-up to Service A. During Service B, all Service A repairs, as well as cabin filter and brake fluid replacements, are completed to ensure your car is set for the next interval. To ensure you never miss a service date, your vehicle is fitted with the Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System – a maintenance counter that notifies you of upcoming appointments.

Why Choose Certified Professionals?

When you visit an auto shop, there’s no telling what caliber of service you’ll receive. Many auto centers claim to offer dealership-level repairs and maintenance; however, it’s highly unlikely their mechanics are as familiar with Mercedes-Benz engineering and technology as our Master Certified Technicians.

Additionally, unlike lesser-grade shops, our technicians use OEM fluids, tires, and parts to complete auto service – meaning our customers get the highest value possible for their time and money. So, when you visit us for Service B, we’ll upgrade your Mercedes-Benz with oil, brake fluid, and a cabin air filter designed specifically for its model and year.
