As it is with most AMG® models, the most exciting aspect of the AMG® GT is its ludicrously loud and lusty engine. On the GT S iteration, for instance, a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 holds court with a seven-speed automated manual gearbox, working together to produce a positively titanic 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.
