  • Engines: A 208-hp 2.0L inline-4 engine that creates 258 lb-ft of torque can be had on the new GLA, while the GLC delivers a more powerful 241-hp 2.0L turbo inline-4 which produces 384 lb-ft of torque.
  • Transmission: While both Mercedes-Benz SUVs offer smooth shifting on the San Bernardino County streets, the GLC gets the added benefit of the 9G-TRONIC® automatic transmission with shift paddles, while the GLA sports a 7G-DCT 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
  • Towing: Towing isn’t recommended on the GLA, but when equipped with the optional trailer hitch, the GLC can manage up to 3,500 pounds.
  • Cargo Space: Fold down the rear seats of the GLA, and you can access up to 43.6 cubic feet of cargo room. For those with more demanding cargo carrying needs, the GLC SUV boasts a maximum of 56.5 cubic feet of cargo space or 49.4 cubic feet with the Coupe lineup.
