7 New Features Found in the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA
It is said that some of the best things come in small packages like diamonds and jewelry; in this case the Mercedes-Benz GLA. This compact SUV might not be the biggest in its class but it will sure leave a BIG lasting impression.
If you’re interested in a subcompact SUV like the Mercedes-Benz GLA in Southern California, take a look at these 7 features you won’t find in the 2017 model.
1. Exclusive New Color
You have more looks to choose from to make your GLA even bolder like the all-new color available for the GLA, “Canyon Beige” or like this Mercedes-AMG® GLA 45.

2. New Wheels & Modified Front and Rear Bumper

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA features a modified front-end and bumper with new wheels ranging from 18 to 20 inches.
3. Larger Infotainment Screen

The larger 8.0-inch infotainment screen is replacing the 2017 7-inch unit. It also brings you a wide range of ways to stay entertained and informed with features like Bluetooth® audio streaming, Apply CarPlay™ and Android Auto.
4. Revised LED Taillamps

With every driver seeking the Mercedes-Benz star quality, the GLA taillamps feature “Stardust” technology. Available new LED headlamps flood the road ahead with light that’s brighter, whiter and more like natural daylight.
5. GLS Grille

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA is looking up to its bigger brother when it comes to its newly redesigned grille. It incorporates rectangular accents found in the Mercedes-Benz GLS.
6. Backup Camera

New to the GLA is its standard backup camera. Shift into Reverse, and a rear-mounted camera displays a live 180-degree view of what’s behind the vehicle on the screen atop the dashboard. Active on-screen guidelines indicate your GLA’s projected path as you turn the steering wheel.
7. Foot-Activated Liftgate

With the available new HANDS-FREE ACCESS, just a “kick” under the bumper can open the standard power liftgate. It’s a grand opening to a generous space: 43.6 cu ft. of cargo room with the rear seats folded, or a sedan-like trunk with all five seats in use.
