This is done to ensure that the vehicle’s ride is optimized. If the job isn’t done properly, the unbalanced tires can cause excessive wheel vibration, which can lead to damage to the vehicle’s suspension, throw the car out of alignment, and cause the tires to wear out much sooner than they should. In extreme cases, unbalanced tires can even compromise the vehicle’s ability to turn properly, putting cabin occupants at risk.
