Torque Vectoring Brake

Standard Torque Vectoring Brake technology provides additional control and precision in turns via targeted rear-wheel braking. If the vehicle’s Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) detects understeer while cornering on Rancho Cucamonga roads, the system applies the brake to the inside rear wheel, temporarily shifting torque distribution in favor of the outside wheel. This can help the vehicle to gently pivot in compensation, putting it on a line of travel, or vector, better suited to the turn. Test out this braking technology at your test drive with Mercedes-Benz of Ontario near Fontana.

2.0L inline-4 turbo engine

The 255-hp 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine combines numerous advances to deliver more performance from less fuel. Its rapid-multispark ignition and high-pressure Direct Injection can fine-tune themselves every few milliseconds to optimize performance, efficiency and emissions on Chino streets. An intercooled twin-scroll turbocharger and CAMTRONIC variable valve lift help deliver all of the engine’s 273 lb-ft of torque from just 1,800 rpm, for vigorous response when taking off, merging or passing on Rancho Cucamonga highways.
