Mercedes-Benz vs. BMW: Price

When it comes to affordability, Mercedes-Benz has always been ahead of the game. To give Fontana drivers an idea of what they can expect to pay for both brand models, here are the lowest starting prices of each brand option:

Mercedes-Benz Lowest-Priced Model

  • 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLA SUV: $37,500 MSRP*

BMW Lowest-Priced Model

  • 2024 BMW 2 Series: $38,400 MSRP

The prices will vary depending on what kind of vehicle and what specific model you choose, but overall, Mercedes-Benz vehicles offer more affordable prices and exclusive amenities not found on BMW models.

Mercedes-Benz vs. BMW: Warranty

Both BMW and Mercedes-Benz models offer a generous 4-year/50,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty. BMW and Mercedes-Benz also offer the same 1-year/unlimited-mile certified pre-owned warranty. One of the ways that a Mercedes-Benz vehicle stands apart from a BMW is that all new, certified pre-owned, and pre-owned Mercedes-Benz models are eligible for Prepaid Maintenance, which allows you to service your vehicle now and pay it later. This can take the stress out of maintaining your Mercedes-Benz vehicle and isn’t something offered with BMW!

Mercedes-Benz vs. BMW: Certified Pre-Owned Program

Although both CPO programs come with a 1-year/unlimited-mile warranty, Mercedes-Benz offers additional benefits, giving Rancho Cucamonga drivers more peace of mind. The Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Program offers a 7-day/500-mile Exchange Privilege, which BMW doesn’t offer. With a Mercedes-Benz certified pre-owned vehicle, if a driver breaks down more than 100 miles from home, Mercedes-Benz will reimburse any travel expenses, up to $300 per day for three days.

Mercedes-Benz vs. BMW: Sedans

BMW has an overall less expensive entry into the sedan category than Mercedes-Benz. But, BMW has more expensive sedan, coupe, and convertible models than Mercedes-Benz as you move on up both brand lineups. Another thing to consider is the two brands’ performance lineups: Mercedes-AMG® for Mercedes-Benz and BMW M for BMW. Mercedes-AMG® sedans start out at a lower price than BMW M sedans and produce similar performance metrics. For the most part, Mercedes-Benz sedans are also more spacious than BMW sedans, especially in the coupe area. For example, the Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe can seat up to five passengers comfortably while the BMW 2 Series Coupe can only seat up to four passengers.

Overall, Chino drivers usually get more space and more affordability when opting for a standard sedan or high-performance sedan from Mercedes-Benz!

Mercedes-Benz vs. BMW: SUVs

Mercedes-Benz and BMW both succeed in offering luxurious SUV options for Corona drivers, but when it comes to affordability, Mercedes-Benz shines yet again, offering a lower SUV starting price than BMW. When it comes to luxury and comfort, both brands deliver amazing options, but one feature that makes Mercedes-Benz vehicles stand out is the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) feature. This feature combines artificial intelligence with unique Mercedes-Benz technology to learn your driving habits and act as a digital assistant with voice recognition and other capabilities.

Many other technology features, like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, that come standard on Mercedes-Benz vehicles can also be found on BMW vehicles. But, Mercedes-Benz also stands out with premium safety technology like PRESAFE® and ATTENTION ASSIST®, which are exclusive features of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Mercedes-Benz vs. BMW: EV Technology

Mercedes-Benz and BMW both are not strangers to implementing all-electric vehicles into their lineups. Mercedes-Benz models have slightly higher electric range than BMW models, with the Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan offering up to 350 miles of electric range on a single charge. With a Mercedes-Benz all-electric vehicle, you’ll have access to over 60,000 charging stations nationwide, so you can keep your model charged wherever you take it. The Mercedes me Charge system not only helps you find charging stations near Inland Empire or elsewhere, but it also helps pay for charging stations. With the Mercedes-Benz EQE, you’ll get complimentary 30-minute charging stations at any Electrify America DC fast charger for two years!
